Very few people know that Pakistani President Ayub Khan got late Mir Khalil ur Rehman in his work place (the owner of daily Jang, the most prominent newspaper) and kicked him with his military boots upon publishing the articles against his military government in daily jang newspaper. Afterwards daily Jang adopted the policy of not publishing anything against the military of Pakistan during Mr. Khalil ur Rehman's lifetime.
Dawn, the daily newspaper owned by powerful Haroon and Saigol families but they are still fearful of Pakistani military. They had comments section under each news story but recently removed that section about 3/4 months ago out of fear because people were writing truth in that comments section. They posted following message under the stories. "Dear visitor, the comments section is undergoing an overhaul and will return soon". The overhaul has not been done in 4 months.
